...starts with one...

Posts from November 2013-November 2014 are part of The Manzanita Project, a joint effort of Kevin Wiseman and me. Each week, I write a post and he draws a sketch (unrelated). We're trying our hand at co-creation.

Joni Mitchell...Not such an easy sell so far, but that's okay. I like to challenge the little man.

If You Come Across Something from The GGA Project in the Archives...

The GGA was a project I embarked on in December 2010. My goal was to try something new every day for a year and write about it as I went...throughout it all, my intention was to live fully in the present, awakened, and in joy...

As for the why...well let's just say that it saved me a lot of money in potential therapy costs as a means of dealing with and, ideally, coming out healed on the other end of divorce proceedings. And it was a lot more fun.

"And if you hold on tight to what you think is your thing, you may find you're missing all the rest." ~DMB

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~Marianne Williamson
